Rocky and Elvis try to get their bottles from Johnny. I love his sense of humor and his antics with the kittens.
Say It Loud - I Love Cats and I’m Proud!
For centuries there have been many stigmas about cat ownership - cat owners are all a little touched, black cats are bad luck, men who like cats are somehow less than men. Cats will steal your breath while you sleep!!! All ridiculous.
So how did we go from a place where cats are worshipped as gods, to feeling it necessary we keep the fact that we are cat lovers hidden?
There are many excuses. The supposed association with black magic and witchcraft, (personally I think people kind of lost their nut over that whole thing, and many “witches” just happened to have cats.) The outrageous lie that cats aren’t affectionate. And then there’s the “crazy cat lady” thing, among many others.
I’ve come to the conclusion that cats can have an astounding affect on us, almost rendering us powerless to resist them, and many people resent this.

Well, it’s been a long, long time that cats have been thought of as a second class pet, but like many things that people were embarrassed about, the internet has given us the bravery that comes with anonymity, and we cat lovers have spoken up. There’s a reason cats have become the #1 pet, and are returning to their rightful place as cherished companions. They’re beautiful, graceful, endlessly entertaining, and when a cat loves you, it feels real and honest - they don’t give affection because they have to, but because they want to.
Some of our most intelligent and respected figures have been cat lovers.

Some Famous Cat Lovers & Their Cats
The verdict is in people, and the internet is proof. Cats rule. They are the worlds most popular pet, and with good reason. Cats can make you smile on your darkest day. Every way they show affection is adorable. Everything they’re feeling is written on their faces, and when what you find written there is “I love you,” well, nothing can compare. So, say it LOUD - I love cats and I’m Proud!
P.S. There is no tag on a cat that says “women only” and no law that states men may not like cats. Owning a cat is like having a little tiger for a friend. They’re vicious and skilled killers when they want to be, and the ultimate animal atheletes, so what’s not manly about that?

More images from Cat Isand, Japan.
Tashirojima, or Cat Island as it’s often referred to, is a small island in Japan home to hundreds of stray cats, who now outnumber people. The cat population thrives due to the belief that feeding the cats will bring wealth and good fortune.
I could easily live here.
